Twinkling Diamonds Cowl
The Twinkling Diamonds Cowl pattern was inspired by the yarn Dewdrops due to the twinkle of the sequins. It reminded me of the line in the nursery rhyme "like a diamond in the sky....."
Size: 8 1/2" x 26 1/2"
Yarn:
Loops and Threads - Dewdrops color topaz - 3 balls
Supplies:
US Size 9/Metric 5.5mm
crochet hook to weave in ends
needle and thread
Notions:
Three buttons
Three snaps
Pattern Note:
Smaller than specified needles are used to create a densely woven fabric
Glossary:
K - knit
YO - yarn over
K2 - knit 2 together
S2K - slip 2 stitches knit wise, knit together
SK2PO - slip 1 stitch knit wise, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over
Diamond Pattern:

Diamond Cowl
Cast on 31 stitches and follow chart for 9 repeats.
Knit for 10 rows.
Bind off loosely on right side.
Finishing:
Weave in loose ends with crochet hook and block. Sew three decorative buttons near cast on edge at points on diamonds. Sew snaps underneath buttons for attachment.
